Academic Advising

Academic Advisors within the Office of Undergraduate Studies offer students assistance with curriculum planning, provide information about the College of Business academic programs and guidance regarding the College and University policies and procedures.  The College of Business Office of Undergraduate Studies advises FAU Business students who have completed 30 or more credit hours. 

• Freshmen, or Students Transferring to FAU with less than 30 transfer credits, are advised by Freshmen Academic Advising Services .  Academic advising services are available at individual FAU campuses.  Details about advising services and contact information can be found, by campus location, in the menus on the left.



• Pre-Business Students and Students seeking advising on the Davie campus can sign up for an advising appointment by going to  https://bizadviser.fau.edu



• Students with a declared major can see an advisor on the Boca campus without an appointment.  Pre-Business is not considered a major.

• Non-College of Business Students - Walk-In Advising for those who are not yet admitted to the College of Business is available as follows. 

Boca Campus: Fridays, 8:30-11:30 AM and 1:30-4:30 PM.

Davie Campus: Tuesdays 10 AM-noon, Wednesdays 4-6 PM.  

Please Note:  Walk-Ins are done on a First-Come/First-Served basis.  When the number of students logged in as walk-ins equals the time slots remaining, you must come on another day.
