A minor in hospitality management will assist any FAU student in expanding his or her career potential. As the world’s largest service industry and the largest private employer in the State of Florida, hospitality businesses exist in all corners of the globe. From finance to marketing, sociology to anthropology, law to recreation, all professions exist within hospitality ventures.
Students receiving a minor in hospitality management will receive basic core knowledge in the discipline applicable to a number of settings. Graduates with minors in hospitality management have successfully entered a host of positions including, but not limited to: marketing, social media, finance, asset management, commercial recreation, ecotourism, adventure tourism, spa management, casino gaming, hospitality & tourism law, real estate, hotel and resort development, theme park design & architecture, etc.
